Competing with residential communities nationwide, Parker’s Vivant, a Craft Companies community with builder Joyce Homes has taken home the coveted gold award for “Detached Community of the Year” from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas. Gold award winners were selected by a diverse panel of industry professionals from more than 1,300 entries across the country. The annual honors recognize the best in the business for new home sales, marketing and design.
“The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovation in new home design, marketing and sales,” said Kelly Kenton Fink, MIRM, chairperson of The Nationals. “NAHB’s commitment to recognizing originality, imagination and success has been exemplified by its award winners since the competition’s inception.”
Situated on 1.5-acre homesites with sweeping views and wide-open spaces in East Parker, developer Craft Companies brought in Joyce Homes to activate the Vivant community. Combining Joyce’s cutting-edge architecture and thoughtful interior design, the 81-lot Vivant community offers luxury homes starting at $1.245 with four floor plans that challenge the traditional, new-build stereotype by bringing a modern twist and new design to the suburbs unlike anything previously available.
“Joyce Homes was the perfect fit for this community because we needed a quality home builder that would put design second only to the custom experience,” explained Tim Craft, president of Craft Companies. “Vivant’s larger lots allowed Joyce to focus on designing a home without the typical constraints of small production lots with a laser focus on architectural and interior design, resulting in a truly unique community.”
Joyce Homes partnered with Angela Harris of TRIO and hired KGA Studio Architects to develop the TRIO Collection of houses that comprise the four Vivant floor plans that were designed from the inside out, beginning with floor plan circulation, programming and flexibility of every space. The graphically strong black window frames combined with the white and cream exterior of the homes match the interior modern design aesthetic.
“By collaborating every step of the way with our interior design and architecture teams over the past two years, we’ve created a community that encompasses the same modern, cutting-edge architecture and floor plans as highly sought-after custom homes in Denver,” explained Scott Moberg, president of Joyce Homes. “Vivant won this prestigious award because it’s the first suburban community in the country to offer the same level of architectural and interior design found in major cities, with the added bonus of expansive lots in a breathtaking, rural environment.”
